Check the security of any website for free. This tool examines your site's security configuration and finds the weaknesses an attacker could use.
Our scanner runs more than 40 checks, grouped into 12 areas: the SSL certificate (including the TLS versions accepted and the key strength), the protective headers, the DNS and email configuration (SPF with its lookup limit, DMARC, DKIM, DNSSEC, CAA, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT), the domain's reputation with Google Safe Browsing and the spam lists, the certificates publicly issued for the domain (Certificate Transparency), WordPress-specific weaknesses, exposed sensitive files, directory listing, insecure cookies, the HTTP methods and the connection protocol.

Every check gets a score, and at the end you receive an overall grade from F (insecure) to A+ (excellent). The report explains each problem in plain words and tells you what to do about it, and you can download it as a PDF.
The scan is entirely passive. We do not attack and we do not touch private data. We only look at what is publicly available, exactly as an attacker sizing up your site would.
