This is the area dedicated to email forwarding.

Step 3: Adding a new forwarding rule

In the “Forwarders” page, click on the Add Forwarder button.

Complete the following fields:

  • Address to Forward – enter the part of the email address before @ (ex: contact).
  • Domain – select the domain for which the forwarding is created.
  • Forward to Email Address – enter the destination address where messages will be forwarded.

After completion, click on Add Forwarder to save the changes.

Step 4: Verifying the forwarding

After saving, the new rule will appear in the forwarders list.

You can send a test email to the forwarded address and verify if it reaches the destination address.

Step 5 (optional): Global forwarding for domain

cPanel also allows creating a domain-level forwarding.

Instead of specifying an individual address, you can choose the Add Domain Forwarder option and forward all addresses to another domain or unique email.

How to delete or edit a forwarding rule

In the “Forwarders” section, locate the rule you want to modify or remove and use the Delete option next to it.
