1. About the client

Hosting-seo.ro is a Romanian web hosting platform built for SEO performance, developed in-house by our company, GOAI Promovare of Alba Iulia. The site offers hosting that is fast, secure and tuned for Google rankings, on servers in Romania (Bucharest), with optimizations built in (LiteSpeed, advanced caching, CDN, HTTP/3, DDoS protection) and a focus on SEO performance for WordPress sites, online stores and business projects.

Main services and categories:

• Shared hosting tuned for SEO (Starter, Business, Pro and Enterprise plans)
• WordPress and WooCommerce hosting with LiteSpeed and LSCache
• Optimized VPS and cloud servers (NVMe SSD, unmetered traffic)
• .ro, .eu and .com domains at competitive prices, with free WHOIS protection
• Additional services: free site migration, free SSL installation, daily backups, 24/7 support in Romanian
• Built-in SEO optimizations: sub-second load times, green Core Web Vitals, advanced security

Starting position, at launch in 2024:

• Minimal organic traffic: under 350 organic sessions a month
• Little visibility on competitive searches such as "fast hosting Romania", "SEO-optimized WordPress hosting", "cheap VPS servers Bucharest"
• Strong competition from large providers: Hostinger, SiteGround, ROServe, MXHost
• A new platform with basic on-page work, no educational content and weak backlinks

Main objectives: grow organic traffic, rank for hosting and SEO performance keywords, and increase plan sales and customer retention, with a focus on the Romanian market.

2. The strategy

We applied a technical, content-driven SEO strategy, adapted to the 2025-2026 Google algorithms, with the emphasis on E-E-A-T, genuine performance and content that is useful to webmasters. It ran in three phases:

Phase 1: technical and on-page audit (first 3 months)

• Full SEO audit covering both server and site: speed, Core Web Vitals, URL structure
• Rewritten titles and meta descriptions, for example "Fast hosting in Romania, LiteSpeed and SEO built in | Hosting-seo.ro"
• Schema.org for Service, Product, FAQ, HowTo and Organization
• Homepage and comparison pages optimized for featured snippets and AI answers

Phase 2: content and link building (months 4 to 8)

• A technical blog: more than 50 articles, such as "How to improve Core Web Vitals on WordPress in 2025", "Hosting or VPS: which to choose for your site" and "A complete guide to migrating a site without downtime"
• Sustainable link building: guest posts on Romanian web design, WordPress and SEO blogs
• Local SEO: optimization for Romanian searches such as "hosting Alba Iulia" and "high-performance servers Bucharest", with Google Business Profile integration

Phase 3: monitoring and continuous work (months 9 to 12)

• Monthly Google Analytics and Search Console reporting
• UX improvements: a plan comparison tool, live chat, a LiteSpeed demo, testimonials from real customers
• Adjustments driven by seasonal patterns, such as peaks when new sites launch, and by Google updates

3. Results from January to December 2025

Traffic and conversion figures come from Google Analytics 4 (sessions from the Organic Search channel), January to December 2025; Domain Rating comes from Ahrefs. Here are the key charts.

4. Conclusion and lessons

Hosting-seo.ro shows how genuine technical performance combined with well-targeted SEO can turn a hosting provider into a recognised brand on the Romanian market. As an in-house project of GOAI Promovare in Alba Iulia, it demonstrates our work in technical hosting niches, educational content and conversion optimization across B2C and B2B.

Key lessons:
